Mother's Day Scrapbook
This is a scrapbook that I made for my mom to showcase some special pictures from when I was little. The first photo is my mom pregnant with me and then the rest are just the two of us. I made this book from beginning to end. I covered pieces of chipboard with cardstock to make the cover and back stiff and also used my sewing machine to stitch on the pages and to stitch the accordion parts together. I took all the photos to Walgreens, scanned them in on their machine, converted them to black and white, they printed them and voila they all coordinate!
You could make a special little book for whatever you wanted to. So go get some pictures, paper, embellishments and ribbon and go to it!
The little saying at the beginning is printed on vellum and says, "A Mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside...When a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone." The other saying I printed on vellum says, "Time with you is always well spent."
